New to TAI CHI? Long time fan?
You’ve come to the right place. Here, you will learn what TAI CHI is, what it can do for you, and how to get started.
The flowing movements of TAI CHI allow your joints to operate more smoothly. Relaxed postures and circular movements encourage limberness and fluid motions. Turning, stretching, and gentle twisting cause every part of your body to explore a full range of motion without strain.
TAI CHI can:
-
Relieve stress
-
Improve heart health
-
Improve balance and flexibility
-
Boost your mood and quiet your mind.
Calm focus and deep breathing while practicing these gentle movement patterns promotes a sense of relaxation and well-being. The outside world melts away, and there is a brief respite from everyday concerns. Your TAI CHI practice can become a tool you instinctively use as you move through your day to create an island of peaceful, calm, focused, attention when stressful situations arise.
My Classes
I teach an easy, accessible form of Tai Chi that can be done at any age or ability level. The class consists of slow, gentle movements based on classic Tai Chi principles. There is nothing to remember and nothing to get right. You simply do what you see and “go with the flow”. By the end of class, you will wonder where the time went, and realize that you feel pretty good.
